The Panther Page

Events

The majority of Panther events are associated with the Panther Owners Club. They are almost always restricted to members, although section meeting often welcome visitors. Most POC events are section meetings or rallies, the vast majority happening in the UK, with a few in mainland Europe. If you want to get together with other Panther owners contact the POC.

Panther owners in Australia have started meeting fairly regularly. These meetings have been informal get-togethers of Panther owners and enthusiasts, not formally organised by any groups, although most attendees have been in the Panther Owners Register Australia and/or the POC. Meetings have been arranged in Sydney and Brisbane. Contact me for more details.

The Last Hurrah Tour
Des Molloy travelled across half the world on a 50 year old Panther. There's a book and DVD available from Panther Publishing. And now Des is on tour in England talking about the trip in Aug and Sept 2007. Visit Panther Publishing for tour dates and tickets (and the book and DVD!).

The 25th Panther Owners Club National Rally

This will be the 25th Panther Owners Club National Rally. This is the main event in the POC calendar.

The event is to be held in the summer of 2001 (early Aug.) at a site in Yorkshire within easy travelling distance of Cleckheaton. Events will feature the largest ever gathering of P&M products, a mass ride into Cleckheaton, visits from ex-employees of the P&M factory, entertainment for both children and those a little older, food and a real ale bar.

The aim is to have 200 Panthers attend. This should be the biggest gathering of Panthers ever (?).

As the Rally is for club members and invited guests only, the details are available from the Panther Owners Club.

For more information see the Grahame Sherbourne's Madhouse

The Second Australian Panther Rally

All Panthers (and their owners) are invited to attend the Australian Panther Rally.

Internationals are especially welcome so get your airline tickets booked early and the Aussie contingent will do whatever we can to make the journey easier (within reason we can provide accomodation, transportation etc). Current exchange rates make a visit to our country very attractive so don't delay.

Aussies interested in classic club invites should contact the organiser. There should be sufficient accomodation in Sydney for any of the far-flung Aussies, to assist in making it to the Rally. Just ask.

This event will be held on the weekend of ?? May 2001 at Bellingen on the mid NSW coast area, approximately midway between Brisbane and Sydney.

All meet at ??th May at:

{check with organisers}
Bellingen NSW
Map and other details to follow.

Rally organiser is Steve Wright.
